WHAT IS GRAIN-FREE DOG FOOD?
Grain-free dog food contains no ingredients classified as grains. Lots of people think that grains are just the classic grains like wheat, corn and maize. But rice is also classified as a grain and it’s not included in Bozita’s grain-free food. Instead, it includes other types of ingredients such as potatoes, peas and lentils. Bozita has chosen to include potatoes and peas in its grain-free dry food, while the grain-free wet food consists of animal ingredients and minerals.
The reason why Bozita uses potatoes and peas in the grain-free dry food is because these ingredients are needed for the food to form balls.
Potatoes and peas contain starch which, when heated, acts like glue and helps to bind together all the ingredients in the recipe into a dough which is then formed into feed balls.
WHY CHOOSE A GRAIN-FREE DOG FOOD?
Should I choose a grain-free dog food? There are lots of reasons to choose a grain-free food, but for dog owners with dogs who are sensitive to wheat, grain-free food is usually the obvious choice. Lots of dog owners also experience that feeding their dogs grain-free food works well. Dog owners who are looking for gluten-free dog food for their dog can feed with them grain-free food as it doesn’t contain any gluten.
DOES GRAIN-FREE FOOD SUIT ALL DOGS?
